1. This is an application filed by the respondents seeking condonation of 258 days delay in filing the counter affidavit.

2. The application is, for the reasons stated therein, allowed and the delay of 258 days in filing counter affidavit stands condoned. Consequently, the counter affidavit filed alongwith the application is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the respondents' own stand in their counter affidavit that the petitioner is entitled to Additional HRA for the period between 01.08.2019 to 21.05.2023, the grievance of the petitioner stands satisfied. therefore, prays that the writ petition be disposed of by directing the respondents to release the amount towards Additional HRA for the aforesaid period in a time bound manner.

5. In the light of the aforesaid stand taken by the parties, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondents to release in favour of the petitioner, within six weeks, the amount payable to him towards Additional HRA as per Rules for the period between 01.08.2019 to 21.05.2023.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
