Petitioner is defending a divorce petition filed by her husband. 2.
When the case was at the stage of evidence, her husband moved an application seeking amendment in the plaint.

The grievance is with respect to the order dated 23.12.2024 whereby such request has been granted.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if the respondent husband wanted to incorporate all these facts in the plaint, he should have moved application at appropriate early stage but at such a belated stage, the learned Trial Court should not have given any indulgence to him. 5.
It is noticed that the abovesaid divorce petition was filed in the year 2015.

not press the present petition. He, however, submits that learned Judge, Family Court may be requested to expedite the disposal of the abovesaid divorce petition.

None appears from the side of the respondent despite advance notice. 8.
In view of the above, without prejudice to rights and contentions of the petitioner herein, the present petition is disposed of as not pressed. 9.
Simultaneously, since the divorce petition is around 10 years old, the learned Judge, Family Court is requested to make best endeavour to dispose of the abovesaid petition, as expeditiously as possible and, preferably, within a period of one year from today.

The pending application stands disposed of in aforesaid terms.
