The present petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.251/2021 registered under Sections 323/341/506/188/269/34 IPC & Section 3 of Epidemic Diseases Act at P.S. Chhawla, New Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioners beat and abused respondent No.2.

Learned APP for the State submits that in the present case the petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent No.2 is the complainant/victim. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the parties have settled their dispute before Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi on 25.04.2023 and in terms of the settlement, respondent No.2 is now left with no claim or grievance whatsoever against the petitioners. 5.

The petitioners, who are present in the Court, have been identified by their counsel as well as by the Investigating Officer. Respondent No.2, who has joined the proceedings through V.C., has also been identified by the Investigating Officer.

The petitioners have shown remorse for their conduct and they undertake not to repeat the same in future. Respondent No.2 states that he has entered into the aforesaid mediation settlement out of his own free will, volition and without any coercion. He further states that he has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed. 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that cross FIR being FIR No.250/2021 registered under Sections 323/341/506/509/354A/269/188/34 IPC and Section 3 of Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 at Police Station Chhawla, New Delhi has already been quashed by this Court vide order dated 20.03.2024 passed in CRL.M.C. 4138/2023. 8.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed, subject to payment of cost of Rs.5,000/- each by petitioner Nos.1, 2 and 4 to be deposited with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (A/c The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Proof evidencing receipt of deposit shall be filed with the I.O. In case the receipt of deposit of cost is not filed within the stipulated time, the I.O. shall be at liberty to move an appropriate application. 11.
