Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since as per the counter affidavit filed by the respondent, the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2017 has been forwarded to an expert committee appointed by the respondent, the petitioner would, for the present, be satisfied in case, the respondent is directed to take a considered decision on the same in a time bound manner.

4. Learned counsel for the respondent has no objection to this limited request.

the writ petition by directing the respondent to decide the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2017 (Annexure - "E" to the writ petition) within a period of four months by passing a reasoned and speaking order by following the laid down procedure. However, taking into account the fact that the aforesaid representation was made almost seven years ago, we grant the petitioner liberty to file an additional representation along with supporting documents to the respondent within a period of one week, which representation will also be taken into consideration by the respondents while deciding the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2017.

6. Needless to state, this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's claim and, therefore, in case, the petitioner is aggrieved by any order passed by the respondent, it will be open for him to seek legal recourse as permissible in law.
