Additional status report has been filed on behalf of the respondent no.1/MCD on 18th August, 2025.

In the additional status report, it has been stated on behalf of the respondent no.1/MCD that the property in question was inspected on 1st May, 2025 and thereafter, a Show Cause Notice was issued to the respondents no.3 and 4 on 1st May, 2025 under Section 344(1) and 343 of the DMC Act.

by the respondent no.1/MCD to the respondents no. 3 and 4. 2.2.

On 2nd July, 2025, the respondents no.3 and 4 submitted that they have removed the tin shed as well as the steel structure from the terrace of the third floor.

On 9th July, 2025, photographs were submitted to show that all construction on the terrace has been removed. 2.4.

Thereafter, a fresh inspection was carried out by the respondent no.1/MCD, wherein the concerned JE, MCD reported that all construction has been removed from the terrace on the third floor. 3.

Along with the status report dated 18th August, 2025, a photograph has been placed on record which shows that there is no existing construction on the terrace.

In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of. In case the petitioner has any further grievance with regard to the unauthorised construction, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Special Task Force constituted by the Supreme Court vide orders dated 24th April, 2018 and 18th July, 2018 in W.P.(C) 4677/1985 titled as M.C. Mehta v. Union of India & Ors.
