The present petition has been placed before us on an office note seeking clarification of the direction in para 4 of order dated 14.10.2025. The direction notes as under:

"the amount deposited by the petitioner under our order dated 21.05.2025, will be refunded to him by the Registry after due verification". 2.

The office seeks clarification as to whether the interest accrued on the amount invested as an FDR is also payable to the petitioner in terms of the order dated 14.10.2025, since no specific direction in regard thereto has been passed.

We make it clear that the aforesaid direction will also comprise the interest accrued on the said FDR, and as such would enure to the benefit of the petitioner, and will also be payable upto date to the petitioner. 4.

Accordingly, the office note stands discharged.
