The appellant has filed an appeal for enhancement of the Award dated 27.02.2020 passed by the learned MACT awarding compensation of Rs.11,50,000/- along with interest @ 9% from the date of filing of the claim petition.

After comprehensive discussion, it is agreed between the parties that the appellant shall get enhanced amount of Rs.2,40,000/- as lump sum compensation over and above the award of the learned Tribunal as full and final compensation. The learned counsel for the appellant submits that enhancement amount be released in favour of the appellant and the respondent no. 4 in equal proportion.

The Insurance Company is granted 06 weeks time to deposit the said amount before the concerned Tribunal failing which it shall carry interest @ The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 9% p.a. on delayed deposit. The Tribunal may release the said amount to the appellant/Smt. Kiran and the respondent no. 4/Ms. Khushiali in equal proportion, subject to fulfilment of all requisite formalities. 3.
