As these two petitions have been filed with identical prayers, and it is reiterated by the counsel for the petitioners that respondents should extend the benefit of the judgment of the Supreme Court in the case of Director (Admn. And HR) KPTCL & Ors. versus C.P. Mundinamani & Ors. in Civil Appeal No. 2471/2023 decided on 11.04.2023, the same are decided by this common order.

Mr. Pramod Kr. Tiwari, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners reiterates the prayers as sought in the writ petitions. 3.
The counsel appear for the respondents state that each case is required to be looked/considered on facts to ensure that the said case is covered by the judgment of the Supreme Court.

Noting the said submission(s) made, we dispose of these petitions with a direction to the respondents to consider the writ petitions as representations on behalf of the petitioners in terms of the judgement of the Supreme Court referred to above and dispose of the same within a period of ten weeks.

If the petitioners are entitled to the benefits as per the judgment of the Supreme Court, the same shall be released to them within a period of six weeks thereafter.
