The Petitioners were impleaded as accused in FIR No. 120/2022 dated 11th August, 2022 under Sections 409/420/120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at P.S. Economic Offences Wing. 2.

The Petitioners, through the present petitions under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding to Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973), seek nearly identical reliefs, primarily seeking quashing of the subject FIR and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom.

Mr. Amol Sinha, ASC for the State, submits that upon completion of the investigation, the police filed a 'closure' report under Section 173 of the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

CrPC on 16th December 2024. The Complainant initially filed a protest petition against the said closure, which was subsequently withdrawn on 3rd April, 2025. Thereafter, by a detailed order dated 19th April, 2025, passed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, South East District, Saket Courts, New Delhi, the closure report was accepted. Copies of the said orders have been handed over across the board and the same are taken on record. 4.

In light of the above, as the proceedings in the impugned FIR have been closed, the reliefs sought in the present petitions are, in the opinion of the Court, rendered infructuous.

The petitions are accordingly disposed of along with all pending applications.
