This Court had by order dated 13.08.2025 directed as follows: "1. Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent submits that a settlement in the matter is possible.

1.1 Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent, on instructions, further submits that the Impugned Award has granted a lumpsum compensation of 4 lakhs and the Respondent is willing to settle the matter at 50%, which is 2 lakhs and interest accrued thereof in the matter.

2. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that this is a fair offer and she requests for some time to take instructions in this regard.

3. Let the Authorised Representative of the Petitioner as well as the Respondent remain physically present in the Court on the next date of hearing."

The son of the proprietor of the Petitioner and the Respondent is present in person.

Learned Counsel for the parties, on instructions, submits that the parties have reached an amicable resolution of their disputes outside the Court and instead of Rs. 2,00,000/- and interest accrued thereon, the W.P.(C) 8459/2019 Page 1 of 2 By:RAHUL 19:15:44

Petitioner is willing to offer the Respondent an amount in the sum of Rs. 1,75,000/- along with interest accrued thereon, in final settlement of all his claims.

Learned Counsel for the Respondent, on instructions from the Respondent, submits that this offer is acceptable to the Respondent. 5.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner further submits that the Respondent can take appropriate steps to withdraw the amount already deposited before the Court and the balance amounts may be refunded to the Petitioner.

Learned Counsel for the parties submit that since the matter between the parties stands settled, nothing survives for further adjudication in the matter.

Accordingly, the Respondent is at liberty to take appropriate steps with the Registry of the Court to withdraw an amount in the sum of Rs. 1,75,000/- along with up to date interest accrued thereon. Once the amount is withdrawn by the Respondent, the Petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate steps to withdraw the remaining amounts. 8.

The Petition is disposed of in view of the settlement between the parties. The pending Application stands closed. 9.
