Mr. Sanyat Lodha, learned counsel for the appellant, on instructions, states that he has been instructed to submit that the appellant does not wish to press the present appeal on merits as he has undergone his entire substantive sentence and paid the fine, consequent to which he was released from jail on 13.08.2022.

The appellant, who has joined the proceedings through V.C., reiterates the said request.

In view of the above, the present appeal is disposed of as not pressed. 4.
Learned APP for the State submits that there are two victims in the present matter, and, as per instructions, only one of the victims has received compensation.
