O R D E R

The present petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR No.

0947/2022 registered under Sections 354/354A/354C/354D/509/506/34 IPC at P.S. Wazirabad, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes. 2.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, petitioner No.1 made unwanted advances and remarks towards the respondent No.2 and the other petitioners enabled his conduct by failing to stop him. 3.

Mr. Sanjeev Bhandari, ASC (Crl.) for State, on instructions, submits that the petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent Nos.2 is the complainant/victims in the present case. It is further submitted that the charge-sheet has been filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the love marriage of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

petitioner no.3 and respondent no.2 was solemnized on 07.09.2017 at Arya Samaj Mandir, Khaiber Pass, Delhi. It is stated that during the stay in the matrimonial home, disputes had arisen between the parties and it is alleged that petitioner No.1 tried to outrage the modesty of respondent No.2. It is stated that the present FIR was registered due to misunderstanding and with the intervention of family members and friends, parties have amicably settled their disputes vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 13.05.2024, a copy whereof has been placed on record. In terms of the said settlement, complainant/victims are now left with no claim or grievance against the petitioners.

The petitioners and respondent nos. 2, who are present in Court, have been identified by their counsel as well as the I.O./ ASI Ravinder PS Wazirabad.

The petitioners have shown remorse for their conduct and undertake not to repeat the same in future. Respondent Nos. 2 also states that she has entered into the aforementioned MOU out of her own free will, volition and without any coercion. She further states that she has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed. 7.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and considering that no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. 9.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of alongwith miscellaneous application.
