The present petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('CrPC'), inter alia, seeking directions to the respondent to investigate the complaint dated 05.07.2022 in an expeditious manner.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the complaint in regard to cruelty over the demand of dowry and further harassment being inflicted upon the petitioner by the husband and his family members was given way back on 05.07.2022.

He submits that no action has been taken till date and all attempts for reconciliation have failed.

The learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, at the outset, submits that an appropriate action would be taken in accordance with law, expeditiously. He submits that notices were issued to the complainant but she has failed to appear. 5.

He further submits that the complainant can visit the concerned Inquiry Officer on any date convenient to her. 6.

In view of the above, no orders are required to be passed at this stage.

The petitioner is, however, at liberty to approach this Court in case any grievance remains.
