% 06.02.2024 1.

This Writ Petition has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner, under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for grant of parole for a period of one month.

2.

Status Report has been filed on behalf of the State. Grant of parole is opposed on the ground that Petitioner's jail conduct for the last one year has been unsatisfactory and he has been punished twice within the last one year for fighting with inmates. Additionally, it is stated that attempts were made to verify the address provided by the Petitioner in the memo of parties of the petition, i.e., "R/o: C/o Sh. Sunil, H. No. B-120, Near Gyandeep Public School, Tigri Extension, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi", however, the address has turned out to be incorrect and the owner/landlord of the premises was unable to recognize the Petitioner. Statement of the landlord has been annexed to the status report.
