O R D E R

% 11.02.2020 This is a petition filed by the petitioner under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking grant of bail in case FIR No. 83/2016, P.S.Crime Branch.

At this stage, it is submitted by the counsel for the petitioner that he is not pressing the bail application and his only submission is that the trial court be directed to finish of the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably within three months.

It is further submitted that the FIR in this case pertains to the year 2016, and petitioner is in judicial custody since then, and till date only two witnesses have been examined.

Learned APP for the State submits that there are 10 witnesses in all. Out of 10 witnesses, 8 remaining witnesses are police officials

and it will not take much time in conducting examination of these witnesses.

In view of this, learned trial court shall make all endeavours for expeditious disposal of the trial, preferably within six months. With these directions, the petition stands disposed of. RAJNISH BHATNAGAR, J FEBRUARY 11, 2020 ib
