This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator by six months. 2.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to an Agreement dated 01.10.2014, Petitioner filed the petition under Section 11(6) of 1996 Act being ARB. P. 844/2017, which was allowed on 15.03.2022 appointing a Sole Arbitrator. Learned Arbitrator entered upon reference on 23.03.2018. From time to time, mandate of the Arbitrator was extended and lastly, by order dated 09.05.2024 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 143/2023 upto 08.05.2025, after appointing a substitute Arbitrator. 3.

Arbitral proceedings are stated to be at the stage of final arguments. Since mandate of the Arbitrator has expired on 08.05.2025, by this petition, O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 406/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Ms. Prachi Dhingra, learned counsel for the Respondent accepts notice and on instructions, submits that the Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the learned Arbitrator. 6.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by a period of six months from 09.05.2025. 7.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
