The petitioner seeks, by this petition, a direction to the Standing Screening Committee of the Central Industrial Security Force1 to take a decision on the petitioner's antecedents and suitability for appointment in the CISF.

Mr. Baisala, learned Counsel for the petitioner, has drawn our attention to order dated 1 April 2025 passed by this Bench in WP (C) 4029/2025 in which, in similar circumstances, the writ petition was 1 "CISF" hereinafter W.P.(C) 6960/2025 KUMAR 11:27:05

disposed of, with the direction to the Standing Screening Committee to take a decision on the petitioner's candidature within eight weeks. 3.

Issue notice, returnable forthwith.

Notice is accepted by Mr. Sameer Sharma on behalf of the respondent.

Following the decision in WP(C) 4029/2025, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Standing Screening Committee to take a decision on the petitioner's candidature positively within eight weeks from today. Ordinarily, no extension of time would be granted. 6.

In case the petitioner is found unsuitable for appointment, the respondent would provide reasons for the decision and communicate it to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of.
