The present application has been filed on behalf of the respondent no.4 in a disposed of writ petition.

The writ petition was disposed of vide judgment dated 11th December, 2025, directing investigation by police authorities into circumstances that resulted in the filing of the present writ petition. 3.
Pursuant to the aforesaid judgment, an FIR No.497/2025 dated 17th December, 2025 under Sections 308(2)/336/340/341/339/61(1) BNS 2023, W.P.(C) 6974/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. was registered with the Jamia Nagar Police Station. 4.
By way of the present application, the petitioner seeks that the investigation may be transferred to District Investigating Unit, South East, who may investigate the wider angle of the case. 5.
Counsel for the applicant has also drawn attention of the Court to certain threatening WhatsApp messages that have been received by the counsel for the applicant/respondent no.4 after the present application has been served on the petitioner and other parties in this petition. 6.
Let the said documents be handed over to counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no.2/SHO.

The Court takes serious view of the matter that the Advocate of the respondent no.4 has received such threatening messages. The police investigation being carried out shall also cover the aforesaid threatening messages received by the counsel for the respondent no.4. 8.
It is further directed that the respondent no.2/SHO P.S. Jamia Nagar shall carry out wider investigation so as to include the modus operandi followed by the persons who are filing such writ petitions in fictitious names. If necessary, the FIR may be transferred to the District Investigating Unit.

Status report in this matter has been filed on behalf of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, South East District, New Delhi. It is directed that the said officer shall continue to monitor the investigation. 10.
The application stands disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
