The petitioners have filed the present petition with the following prayers: - "1. Issue a Writ of mandamus and/or any other suitable writ, order and/or direction to the respondents to immediately release compensation of the acquired land the petitioners with respect to 33 Bighas 12 Biswas of land comprised in Khasra nos. 27//1/2 (18), 27/10 (4-16), 27/11 (4-16), 27/12 (4-16), 27/19 (416), 27/20 (4-16), 27/21 (4-16), situated in village Tikri Khurd, NCT Of Delhi, along with statutory benefits under the Land Acquisition Act 1894.
2. Issue a Writ of mandamus and/or any other suitable writ, order and/or direction to the respondents to forward the reference under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act 1894 of the petitioners with respect to 33 Bighas 12 Biswas of land comprised in Khasra nos.27//1/2 (1-8), 27/10 (4-16), 27/11 (4-16), 27/12 (4-16), 27/19 (4-16), 27/20 (4-16), 27/21 (4-16), situated in village Tikri Khurd, NCT Of Delhi' 2.

appearing on behalf of the Land Acquisition Collector (LAC), states on instructions that the application for disbursal of the compensation would be disposed of within a period of six weeks from today and, either the petitioners will be granted the compensation or a speaking order will be provided setting out the reasons for declining the same. 3.
The LAC is bound down to the statement made on its behalf. 4.
Insofar as the petitioners' second prayer for making a reference under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 is concerned, Mr. Pathak, the learned Standing Counsel submits that the same would be barred by limitation.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of clarifying that the petitioners would be entitled to avail all remedies and benefits as may be available to them in accordance with law and all contentions in this regard of the petitioners are reserved.

Needless to state that any objection to such disbursal of compensation, including the claim, being barred by limitation is also reserved.

The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
