% 08.02.2018 Respondent No.2 Ms. Neha is present in court and has been identified by SI Azad Singh of Police Station Ranhola. Respondent No. 2 says that she has settled the matter with petitioner no.1 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion on 18.10.2016. Her marriage with petitioner No.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 13.11.2014 passed by Family Courts, West District, Tis Hazari Courts. Respondent no.2 says that she has already received the entire settled amount and she further says that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner . Affidavit of respondent no.2 is already on record.
Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No.04/2013 under Sections 498A/406/506/34 IPC registered at police station Ranhola and the
consequent proceedings emanating threfrom are is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
