O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent nos. 1 and 2, i.e., Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD") for granting permission /No Objection Certificate ("NOC") for installation of lift in respondent no. 3-society, i.e., New Saraswati CGHS Limited, Sector 9, Rohini, as per the approved policy mentioned in Office Order dated 7th July, 2022.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are suffering from a number of health ailments, on account of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
which, they need installation of lift in their respective block, for the ingress and egress to their respective flats.

It is submitted that in terms of the aforesaid policy of the respondent nos. 1 and 2, the petitioners have applied for grant of permission of NOC with the respondents vide letter dated 17th February, 2025.

However, it is submitted that despite reminders, no further action has been taken.

Per contra, learned counsel appearing for respondent nos. 1 and 2, submits that the petitioners have not attached the requisite documents, which are required for the purposes of installation of a lift. 6.
At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that they shall comply with all the requirements and necessary formalities, as indicated by the MCD, and shall file all the requisite documents. 7.
Accordingly, MCD is directed to issue a letter to the petitioners, pursuant to their application, as aforesaid. In case of any deficiency in the said application, the same shall be pointed out to the petitioners. 8.
Upon the deficiency being pointed out by the MCD to the petitioners, the petitioners shall take requisite steps for removing those deficiencies and filing the requisite documents and other formalities, as indicated by the MCD.

Let the requisite letter indicating the deficiencies be issued to the petitioners within a period of ten days from today. 10.
Upon the petitioners complying with the necessary formalities and supplying the requisite documents, necessary approval/NOC be granted by the MCD expeditiously.
