This petition has been filed challenging the Order dated 11.11.2020 passed by the learned Tribunal in OA No. 693/2020, titled Anil Kumar Chauhan & Ors. Vs. Union of India & Ors. disposing of the said O.A. filed by the Respondent nos. 4 to 21 herein, with the following directions: - "28. In view of the foregoing, the pleas put forth by the applicants are gaining acceptability. Accordingly, OA is allowed.

The respondents letter dated 15.05.2014 and 31.12.2019 and the other letters referred therein, are quashed and set aside to the extent that MCM were proposed to be treated to be one of the feeder category for the post of Chargeman Gr-II, Gr-1 or Chargeman (Technical). This consideration cannot be extended to the MCMs so long as the RRs do not expressly provide for it.

29. With this, the interim orders passed are rendered infructuous and accordingly stand vacated.

The respondents shall consider the eligible HSK-I only, for promotion to the post of Chargeman as per RRs." 2.

During the pendency of the present petition, the Government of India has notified the 'Ministry of Defence, Indian Ordnance Factories Organisation, Chargeman (Technical), Group B Post, Recruitment Rules 2024' on 21.05.2024, and the same have been published in the Official Gazette on 13.06.2024, thereby coming into operation. 3.

In view of the above, nothing survives in the present petition. The same is disposed of, allowing the official respondents to make promotions in accordance with law. All the pending applications also stand disposed of.
