The instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for seeking parole for a period of one month. Status report is on record.

Factum of petitioner's maternal sister's marriage is confirmed and verified.

Nominal Roll dated 09.02.2018 reveals that the petitioner was convicted under Sections 395/397/186/332/353 IPC and was sentenced to undergo RI for ten years with fine `10,000/-.

Crl.A.288/2015 was dismissed by this Court on 22.08.2016. Nominal Roll further reveals that the petitioner has already undergone five years, seven months and twelve days incarceration besides remission for four months and twenty-seven days as on 09.02.2018. Earlier he was granted interim bail / parole / furlough and there are no allegations of its misuse.

In the interest of justice and to enable the petitioner to perform customs in his maternal sister's marriage, he is granted two weeks parole from the date of his release, on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of `20,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. After completion of parole period, the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent. 4.

Writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms. 5.
