Having heard learned counsels for the parties and upon perusal of the order dated 17.01.2023, it appears that the said order has been passed pursuant to the directions of this Court vide order dated 21.03.2016 as well as 10.02.2021. However, it is pointed out that the order dated 17.01.2023 was challenged by the petitioner, which has since been set aside by the Financial Commissioner vide order dated 25.04.2024.

Accordingly, since the matter has been remanded afresh to the RCS to re-consider the issue of allotment of the residential unit in question to the petitioner, let a decision be taken within eight weeks from today in accordance with law.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
