This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging noncompliance of the orders dated February 9, 2023 and February 13, 2023. Vide order dated February 9, 2023 this Court had directed the stay of the order dated February 2, 2023. Vide order dated February 2, 2023, the respondents sought to repatriate the petitioner to his original unit. 2.

The submission of Mr. Vivek Sheel, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the respondents have violated the said order. 3.

We have seen the counter affidavit filed by the respondents wherein in paragraph 16, it is stated that the respondents have issued an order dated August 22, 2023 to the effect that the petitioner shall perform the duties of Head Constable (NA) till further orders.
