The present petition has been filed by the petitioner who claim to be partners of the firm registered by the name "M/s. Sudhir Road Carriers" vide registration no. 2176/1991 having its registered office at A-1/28, First Floor, Flat No. 8, Main Najafgarh Road, Janakpuri, New Delhi-110054. 4.
The petitioner in the present petition seeks a limited relief viz. that the concerned respondent no. 3 / Registrar of Firm and Societies be directed to provide to the petitioner certified documents as regards the registration of the said firm, including the certified copies of Form A and Form B of the registration certificate in the prescribed format as per the Delhi Partnership (Registration of Firms) Rules, 1972.

A photocopy of the Form B (Acknowledgement of Registration), as available with the petitioner, has been appended along with the present petition, and forms part of Annexure P 1 (Colly) accordingly. 6.
It is submitted that during the course of a civil suit, the petitioner made an attempt to seek the aforesaid documents by summoning the concerned officer from the Office of Registrar of Firms and Societies, Udyog Sadan, Patparganj Industrial Area, Delhi. However, it transpired during the course of recording of the statement of the concerned officer / witness in the civil suit that the records as regards registration of the said partnership firm has been transferred to Office of Registrar of Firms and Societies, West District, Rampura, Delhi vide office no.
Firms/Transfer/2016/WD/4699 dated 06.12.2017 and notification no. CI/Admn./RFS-1/2009/1903 dated 26.08.2010.

It subsequently transpired that the Registrar of Firms & Societies, West District, Rampura, Delhi is now merged with the Registrar of Firms & Societies, West District, Rajouri Garden having its registered office at Plot no.3, Shivaji Palace, Rajouri Garden, Delhi-110027. As such, there is currently only one office of Registrar of Firms & Societies in West District, Delhi.

Being aggrieved on account of being unable to obtain the registration documents, the petitioner seeks that the relevant records pertaining to the aforesaid firm be produced, and certified copies thereof be provided to the petitioner.

In the aforesaid circumstances, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 3 to seek to trace the relevant records as regards the aforesaid partnership firm, and provide the certified copies The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

In case any records are untraceable, the respondent no. 3 shall endeavour to reconstruct the same as may be permissible under the extant rules / guidelines.
