Vide the present petition, the petitioners have sought a direction to the respondent no.1 to demolish the unauthorised constructions existing on the terrace of the property at Arqam Apartments bearing old no.273 (New No. C- 29), Khasra No.136, Khewat No.27, Mauja Okhla situated in the colony known as Jamia Nagar, New Delhi. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that during the pendency of the present petition, the respondents have removed the unauthorised construction and only certain pillars on the terrace remain to be demolished.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.1, on instructions, states

that the respondent no.1 proposes to demolish the said pillars on 23.01.2019, in case they are able to get the requisite police assistance. 4.

Learned counsel for the respondent no.2 i.e. the Commissioner of Police assures the Court that the requisite police assistance will be provided to the respondent no.1 on 23.01.2019. 5.

In view of the aforesaid stand taken by the respondent nos. 1 to 3, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present writ petition any further.

The petition alongwith the pending application is dismissed as not pressed.
