% 10.07.2025 By way of the present transfer petition filed under section 24 read with section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure 1908 ('CPC'), the petitioner seeks transfer of HMA No. 2334/2023 pending before the court of Principal Judge, Family Court (South West), Dwarka District Courts, New Delhi to the court of Principal Judge, Family Court (South East), Saket District Courts, New Delhi or any other appropriate court in the South West District, on the ground that the matter has not been taken-up for hearing for almost a year, either by reason of the Presiding Officer being on leave or by reason of the court being vacant.

Ms. Eesha Bakshi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner fairly informs the court that the position as of today is that a Presiding Officer has been assigned to the court; and accordingly seeks leave of the court to withdraw the present petition. However, Ms. Bakshi only requests that the matter be taken-up for hearing at the earliest, since the petitioner has been separated from her husband for over 09 years now.

In the circumstances, the petition is disposed-of as withdrawn; with a request to the learned Presiding Officer, before whom HMA No. 2334/2023 is pending now, to take-up the matter with requisite expedition.
