The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to respondent no.1, to stop the unauthorized construction carried out by respondent no. 2, at property bearing No. 1675, Gali Takhat Wali, Suiwalan, Darya Ganj, Central Delhi, Delhi-110002.

This Court notes that a Status Report dated 29th August, 2025 has been filed on behalf of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), wherein, it is stated as follows:

Considering the aforesaid Status Report, it is manifest that the MCD has already initiated action against the unauthorized construction in question.

This Court notes the submission made by learned counsel appearing for the MCD, that demolition action against the property in question was taken on 30th June, 2025 and 29th July, 2025. 5.

Accordingly, the MCD is held bound to take further requisite action against the unauthorized construction existing in the property in question. 6.

Needless to state, in case the petitioner is aggrieved by any non-action on the part of the MCD, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Special Task Force ("STF"), as constituted by the Supreme Court, in terms of the orders passed by the Division Bench of this Court in the case of Devender The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Versus Govt. of NCT of Delhi and Ors., in W.P.(C) 1807/2018 and Fazruddin Versus DDA and Ors. in W.P.(C) 4649/2017. 7.

Likewise, if the owner/occupier of the property in question, where action is being taken by the MCD, is aggrieved by any action on the part of the MCD, the said owner/occupier has the right to seek their remedies, in accordance with law.

Noting the aforesaid, the present writ petition, along with the pending application, stands disposed of.
