The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking restoration of his Facebook Account which is stated to have been locked by the respondent no. 2 for no justifiable reasons. 4.

It is the petitioner's apprehension that his account has been locked on the ground that the profile picture of his account violated the respondent no. 2's Community Standards against "glorification or support of dangerous individuals or organisations".

Learned counsel for the petitioner emphasises that the same is completely untenable and arbitrary, and cannot withstand the scrutiny of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. After some hearing, it is acceded by learned counsel for the respondent no. 2, who appears on advance notice, that upon the petitioner's supplying the relevant URL Number of his profile created on the platform of respondent no. 2, the aforesaid grievance of the petitioner shall be duly considered as per the applicable rules and regulations governing respondent no. 2.It is assured that the requisite decision shall be taken within the time prescribed thereunder.

In case the petitioner's request for restoration of his account is declined, a reasoned order shall be passed by respondent no. 2 under intimation to the petitioner.Needless to say, the petitioner shall be at liberty to avail appropriate remedies in such event. It is further clarified that all other civil rights and remedies of the petitioner (as also the respondents) are reserved.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. Pending application also, if any, stands disposed of.
