The present petition is filed challenging the proceedings in FIR No. 20/2024 dated 10.01.2024, registered at Police Station Laxmi Nagar for offences under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

the petitioners who are the parents of the complainant's husband. 5.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been implicated solely for the reason that they are the parents of the complainant's husband. 6.

He submits that the petitioners are super seniors aged 73 years and are residents of Telengana. He submits that the petitioners have nothing to do with the matrimonial discord between their son and the complainant.

It is pointed out that chargesheet has already been filed and the matter is listed before the learned Trial Court at the stage of arguments on charge. The petitioners thus have an efficacious alternative remedy to address all arguments before the learned Trial Court.

Considering that the petitioners are super seniors and are residents of Telangana, the learned Trial Court is requested to take a lenient view and exempt the personal appearance of the petitioners during the course of the proceedings. 9.

The present petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
