This petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties arising out of Letter of Award dated 16.11.2011 and Supply Contract and Services Contract, both dated 23.03.2012.

A three-member Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 28.08.2018. time to time, lastly by an order of this Court dated 29.05.2023 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 170/2023 till 28.02.2024. 3.

I am informed that the award was reserved in the arbitral proceedings on 15.03.2023. The learned Arbitral Tribunal has directed the parties to seek a further extension until 31.07.2024. 4.

Ms. Pallavi Anand, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice, and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended until 31.07.2024.

The petition stands disposed of in these terms.
