This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

The present petition has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner/Claimant-M/s Aadhar Stumbh Township Pvt. Ltd. under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The Petitioner vide the present petition is seeking an extension of the mandate of the three member arbitral tribunal, whose mandate is set to expire on 24th July, 2024. 3.

The background of the case as stated in the petition is that on 15th January, 2018 the work-Construction of Office-Cum Residential Complex for ER1-HQ at Patna was awarded to the Petitioner. The stipulated period of completion of the said work was 14th January, 2020. On 25th January, 2018 a contract agreement (hereinafter, 'contract') was executed between the parties herein. The Contract provides for settlement of disputes by way of arbitration. Further, disputes arose between the parties, consequent to which, the ld. Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 15th July, 2022. the said arbitral tribunal was extended by joint consent of the parties till 24th July, 2024.

Ld. Counsels for the parties submit that the matter is at the conclusion of Claimant's evidence and thereafter the Respondent's evidence is to be led and the final arguments are to be heard.

The parties consent to the mandate of the ld. Arbitral Tribunal being extended. Accordingly, the mandate of the ld. Arbitral tribunal is extended by a period of one year from 24th July, 2024. 6.

The petition is disposed of.
