It is an unequivocal position taken by the respondents that the selection process which was initiated in the year 2021 has now been rescinded and the detailed note and proposal has been put up seeking approval of the competent authority for re-initiation of the fresh advertisement calling application for filling up 26 posts of non-official members in the Maintenance Tribunal and 26 posts of non-official members in Appellate Tribunal under the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Rules (2009).

The relief prayed in the instant petition has been rendered infructuous. The petitioner shall be entitled to participate in the fresh selection process. 3.

Petition stands disposed of.
