% 14.12.2024 The appellant/Insurance Company by virtue of the present appeal, seeks reduction of the amount of compensation awarded vide judgment dated 03.06.2022 by the learned Tribunal. The record reveals that Insurance Company has deposited the entire awarded amount alongwith accrued interest in terms of order dated 02.09.2022 passed by this Court.
We have interacted with the learned counsels for the parties concerned. Apropos such interaction and due deliberation, it is agreed on behalf of the parties that out of the awarded amount, a principal amount of Rs.9,00,000/- alongwith interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of claim petition till the date of deposit and thereafter at the accrued rate, shall be refunded to the appellant insurance company and the balance amount along with accrued interest lying deposited before the learned Tribunal concerned after adjustment in terms of the settlement shall be The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
