The present application has been filed on behalf of the decree holder, requesting this Court to release the bank guarantee deposited by the decree holder in compliance of the order dated 19th August, 2025. 4.

directing the judgment debtor to deposit a decretal amount, along with upto-date interest, the said amount was deposited by the judgment debtor. Subsequently, the decree holder was allowed to withdraw the said amount by furnishing a bank guarantee, vide order 07th November, 2025. 5.
It is submitted that vide order dated 27th January, 2026, this Cout has recorded the satisfaction of the decree holder thereof. 6.
It is submitted that the judgment debtor had also filed a petition under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("Arbitration Act"), being O.M.P.(COMM.) 233/2025, challenging the Award dated 28th August, 2024 read with addendum dated 22nd November, 2024. However, the said petition has been dismissed vide judgment dated 18th February, 2026. Thus, the present application has been filed.

Issue notice. Notice is accepted by learned counsel appearing for the judgment debtor/respondent.

Learned counsel appearing for the judgment debtor submits that the Steel Authority of India Limited ("SAIL") may be contemplating challenging the judgment dated 18th February, 2026, passed in O.M.P.(COMM.) 233/2025, and seeks time to take instructions in that regard.

Accordingly, let reply be filed by the judgment debtor, before the next date of hearing.

Re-notify on 30th April, 2026.
