This is a petition filed under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 8 months.

It is stated that there were certain applications moved by the parties which resulted in the delay and now the matter is listed for final hearing.

Mr. Khandelwal, learned counsel for the respondent has already filed a reply and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 4.

For the reasons noted above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. The petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 8 months from today to make and publish the Award.

The period from 16.05.2025 till today stands regularised. 6.

The petition is disposed of.
