The instant writ petition has been preferred by the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India in the nature of habeas corpus seeking directions to the Respondents to produce the Respondent no.9/husband of the Petitioner, namely, Sh. Anshul Tandi, who according to the Petitioner is missing since 14.05.2025. 2.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the marriage between the Petitioner and Respondent no. 9 was solemnized on 23.12.2024 and was registered on 21.02.2025. marriage took place against the wishes of the families of the Petitioner and Respondent No. 9 and that on 14.05.2025, they shifted to Nakodar, Punjab, where they resided together as husband and wife. It is stated that the family members of Respondent no. 9 have brought Respondent no. 9 to Delhi without the knowledge of the Petitioner and after 15.05.2025, the husband of the Petitioner was not traceable, which led to the filing of the present petition. 3.

The Petitioner and Respondent no. 9 have appeared in Court. We have interacted with them.

The Petitioner and Respondent no. 9 agree that they have been married since December, 2024, however, there are certain differences between them. Respondent no. 9, who is present in the Court, has stated that he will take the Petitioner/his wife to his flat in Rohini, Delhi, where Respondent no. 9 is presently residing. 5.

Though, the purpose of habeas corpus has been achieved, however, in view of the fact that the entire future of the young couple is at stake, with the consent of the parties, this Court is inclined to refer the parties for mediation to the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre ['DHCMCC']. It is requested that a senior mediator be appointed to resolve the issue between the couple. 6.

Accordingly, the Petitioner and Respondent no. 9 are directed to appear before the DHCMCC today, i.e., on 26.05.2025 at 05:00 P.M. 7.

The present petition, along with the pending application, is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
