This application has been filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short, 'Cr.P.C.') praying for the applicant to be released on anticipatory bail in FIR No. RCBD1/2020/E/0010 dated 23.12.2020 registered at Police Station: CBI, BSFB, New Delhi for offence under Sections 120B/420/467/468/471 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (in short, 'IPC') and Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1) (d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

By a detailed Order dated 30.05.2022 passed by this Court, it was directed that on the applicant joining the investigation, no coercive steps be taken against the applicant. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that, in the meantime, Charge Sheet already stands filed. He submits that the applicant has been named as an accused in the same. 4.

Be that as it may, as the applicant has enjoyed the interim protection from this Court since 30.05.2022, and keeping in mind the principle enunciated by the Supreme Court in Satender Kumar Antil v. Central Bureau of Investigation & Anr., (2022) 10 SCC 51, it is directed that the interim protection shall continue unless the learned Magistrate/Trial Court taking cognizance of the Charge Sheet deems it necessary for the applicant to be taken into custody for any reasons. 5.
