Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for quashing of FIR No. 0134/2019 dated 18.07.2019 under Sections 406/420/120B IPC at P.S. EOW on the basis of the Settlement Agreement dated 16.10.2019. 2.

It is submitted that as the Petition was pending, many other Victims have forthcome with many of whom the matter has been settled. However, there are still some Victims with whom there is no settlement. 3.

treated as one for quashing on merits qua them, however, this cannot be permitted. Insofar as the compounding is concerned, offences under Sections 406/420 are both compoundable.

Learned Senior Counsel on behalf of the Respondents submits that the Charge-sheet already stands filed on which congnizance has been taken. 5.

The contentions raised herein may be raised at the stage on framing of charge. Insofar as the compounding is concerned, that can be done even before the Trial Court.

The Petition is hereby disposed of with the remedy available as per law.
