% 03.03.2025 CRL.M.A. 6776/2025 (under Section 528 BNSS read with Section 482 Cr.P.C on behalf of the Petitioner to enhance the time for disposal of the case) 1.

An Application has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner/Accused to enhance the time for disposal of the case as directed vide Order dated 06.08.2024.

It is submitted that vide said Order this Court had directed the trial to be concluded within three months. However, time is being taken to conclude the trial. Hence, a prayer is made that the Order dated 06.08.2024 be modified and the condition of three months to complete of trial, may be recalled.

In the order dated 06.08.2024 while considering the Bail Application of the Applicant it was observed that since the accused had admitted about 50 documents, the necessity to examine official witnesses was not there. The examination of only I/O and FSL witnesses was scheduled for 27.09.2024. Therefore, in the interest of justice, the trial was directed to be expedited and concluded within a period of three months. 5.

Thereafter, a request was received from the learned Special Judge for extension of time, which was considered on 05.12.2024 and it was observed that the Trial Court may make an endeavour to conclude the trial within next three months.

The Order is, therefore, self explanatory and the directions given are only for expeditious disposal of the trial essentially within three months from the date of Order i.e. 05.12.2024. No modification of the impugned Order is warranted.

The Application stands disposed of.
