Further, status report has been handed up in Court by counsel for MCD.

Counsel for MCD states that it has been filed, though, it is not on record.

A perusal of the status report would show that pursuant to demolition/ sealing order being passed, in respect of the identified property, the MCD has taken no action for the past couple of years. 4.

It is noted that on 22nd April 2025, during the special demolition/sealing action, the shop had been sealed at two points at the 5th floor. In this regard, photographs have been appended. 5.

After the aforesaid sealing action, letter dated 30th December 2024 and 22nd April 2025 were also been sent to the SHO PS. strict watch and ward over the property.

Further, necessary action has been fixed on 14th May 2025. The SHO, PS. Neb Sarai, is directed to fully support the action and to provide forces to the MCD officials, for this purpose.

On a query to the counsel for petitioner, he states that he is not living on the property nor does he live in the vicinity. 8.

Counsel for petitioner states that the whole property is unauthorised. 9.

Petition is, therefore, disposed of, with direction to the MCD and the Delhi Police to carry out the demolition and sealing activity and ensure that seals are not tampered with, in any manner and unauthorised construction is not permitted to be used.

Steps may also be taken by the MCD for directing the BSES and Delhi Jal Board for disconnecting the electricity and water supply, to all unauthorised portions of the property in concern. 11.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, the petition is disposed of, pending applications (if any) are rendered infructuous). 12.
