By way of above-noted petitions filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners seeks quashing of following FIRs on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes:- i) FIR No. 615/2022 registered under Sections 354/509/34 IPC at P.S. Jaitpur;
ii) FIR No. 614/2022 registered under Sections 354/509/34 IPC at P.S. Jaitpur;
iii) FIR No. 516/2022 registered under Sections 354/354(A)/354(D) /341/509 IPC at P.S. Badarpur;

As per the allegations levelled in the aforesaid FIRs, the petitioners hurled abuses, made inappropriate gestures and even misbehaved with the complainant causing her distress.

Mr. Jha, Ld. APP for the State, on instructions, submits that in FIR No. 615/2022 the petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent No.2 is the complainant/victim in the present case. Mr. Aashneet, Ld. APP for the State, on instructions, states that in FIR Nos. 614/2022 and FIR No. 516/2022, petitioners are the only accused persons and respondent No.2 is the complainant/victim in the present case. 4.
Learned counsels for the petitioners submit that the petitioners and the complainant have amicably settled their disputes vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 20.05.2024, a copy of which has been placed on record.

The petitioners and complainant, who are present in Court, have been identified by their counsel as well as by the I.O.s. The petitioners have shown remorse for their conduct and undertake not to repeat the same in future.

Complainant states that she has entered into the settlement with the petitioners out of her own free will, volition and without any coercion. She further states that she has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and considering that no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIRs and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
subject to payment of cumulative cost of Rs.10,000/-, in each of the above three FIR, to be deposited with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (A/c No. 18580110053263, UCO Bank, Branch : Rouse Avenue, IFSC : UCBA0003364) within a period of four weeks from today. The amount so deposited shall be utilized by the Delhi State Legal Services Authority for providing counselling/psychological support to POCSO victims requiring such assistance.

Proof evidencing receipt of deposit shall be filed with the I.O. as well as in Court failing which, I.O. shall be at liberty to move appropriate application.

A copy of this order be communicated to the Member Secretary, Delhi State Legal Services Authority for intimation. 11.
