The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondents to issue a fresh passport to the petitioner in lieu of his passport bearing no.B1928737, which the petitioner claims was lost.

The petitioner states that he had applied for a passport on 26.02.2019. However, his application has not been processed. 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents states, on instructions, that the said application will be processed and if the passport cannot be issued to the petitioner on account of any defects, the reasons for the same would be communicated to him. The respondents are bound down to the said statement.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The same is disposed of.
