The matter was passed over, as none had appeared for the petitioner on the first call.

None appears for the petitioner even on the second call as well. 3.

The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking bail in connection with FIR No.1116/2018 under Section 307 IPC, registered with PS Mangol Puri. The allegation against the petitioner is that he had assaulted the victim with a knife. The status report indicates the extent of the injuries suffered by the victim. The injuries are described as 'deep and grievous'. It is also stated that the petitioner is involved in three other FIRs as well. 4.

The trial is underway and four witnesses have been examined so far. 5.

In view of the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to grant bail at this stage.

The application is dismissed.
