The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the respondents to register and deliver the General Power of Attorney dated 23.11.2010, executed by M/s Faithful Property Developers Pvt. Ltd. in favour of the petitioner, in respect of Plot no.7, Pocket 4, Sector 23B, Dwarka, New Delhi measuring 250.77 sq. mtrs. 4.
The petitioner claims that the property in question (Plot no.7, Pocket 4, Sector 23B, Dwarka, New Delhi) was allotted to one Mr Mahinder Singh on 30.06.2010 and a lease deed was registered in his favour. It is stated that
he sold the said property to M/s Faithful Property Developers Pvt. Ltd. on 07.07.2010 and for the said purpose, had executed the registered Agreement to Sell and General Power of Attorney (both dated 06.07.2010), which were registered on 07.07.2010.

The petitioner claims that he purchased the aforesaid property on 23.11.2010 by an Agreement to Sell and a General Power of Attorney both dated 23.11.2010, which were presented for registration before the respondent on the said date. The petitioner's grievance is that the General Power of Attorney has not been registered and returned to the petitioner. 6.
In view of the averments made in the petition, the respondent is directed to register the said document, if not already registered and return the same to the petitioner. In the event the respondent is of the view that the said General Power of Attorney cannot be registered, the respondent shall return the General Power of Attorney along with an order indicating the reasons for not registering the same. Let the same be done within a period of eight weeks from today.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 8.
