The present application filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (formerly Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973) seeks regular bail in proceedings arising from FIR No. 611/2019 registered under Section 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at P.S. Khajuri Khas.

After making submissions for some time, counsel for the Applicant submits that he would like to withdraw the present application. However, he highlights that the afore-mentioned FIR was registered on 21st November, 2019 and till date, only 21 out of 48 prosecution witnesses have been examined. He therefore, requests that the Trial Court be directed to expedite the proceedings.
