It is stated that the deceased was the sister of the father of Respondent No. 2, and that other siblings of the father, though deceased, are survived by their respective legal heirs. In view thereof, Respondent No. 2 may not be the sole Class-II legal heir.

In these circumstances, counsel for the Petitioner states that he would like to withdraw the present petition and seeks liberty to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law. Needless to say, in case a genuine settlement is arrived at, the Petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the Court for appropriate orders.
