The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the petitioner is seeking bail in FIR No.
115/2018, under Sections 307/302/506/201/120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC) registered with Police Station Jyoti Nagar.

It is the prosecution's case that the deceased was murdered on account of his marriage with the petitioner's daughter. Mr Srivastava, learned APP for the State states that this is a case of honour killing. 3.
The petitioner's daughter had deposed against the petitioner in her examination-in-chief. According to her testimony, her husband (the deceased) was shot by her brother at the instance of her father (the petitioner). On an earlier action, she had also complained that she has been receiving death threats from the petitioner and other family members. This was because she had married against the wishes of her family.

It is stated that twenty-seven witnesses are to be examined and eight witnesses have already been examined.
Out of the remaining witnesses, only one witness is a public witness and other are official witnesses. 5.
Given the nature of allegations and also considering that the petitioner's daughter who had initially deposed against the petitioner in her examination-in-chief but appears to have turned hostile in her crossexamination that was conducted a few weeks later; this Court does not consider it apposite to allow the present petition. 6.
The petition is dismissed leaving it open for the petitioner to apply afresh after completion of the trial.

The Trial Court is also requested to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible.
