% 29.05.2024 By way of the present petition under section 29A(4) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996 ('A&C Act'), the petitioner seeks extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator, who is seized of the disputes between the parties, by a period of 06 months. The record shows that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator was last extended vide order dated 16.11.2023 made in O.M.P. (MISC.) No.37/2023 titled Navrang Infrastructure INC. vs. Rudra Buildwell Homes Private Limited for a period of 06 months reckoned from 03.11.2023, and that extension has run-out on 03.05.2024.
Issue notice.
Ms. Sakshi Tikmany, learned counsel appears for the respondent on advance copy; accepts notice; and does not oppose the prayer made. Upon a conspectus of the averments contained in the petition and the submissions made, the petition is allowed; and the mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended, as prayed-for, by 06-months with effect from 04.05.2024.
